CreaWatt Group' will be taking part in an innovative project initiated by Pierre Hurmic, Mayor of Bordeaux, to cover 50km of the Bordeaux ring road with photovoltaic shading systems.
This installation will have 4 benefits:
- electricity generation on an already artificial surface,
- filter for automotive pollution,
- rainwater harvesting for farming and firefighting,
- reduced noise pollution for local residents.
The project was designed by architect and urban planner Jean-Claude Laisné, with engineering by BATY NOVA. The shade structures will be manufactured by SN ID CONSTRUCTION, and our ultra-light Luxsiol photovoltaic panels will be installed by ID Solar.
