Many roofs cannot be fitted with solar systems, because conventional photovoltaic panels are too heavy for existing industrial or commercial buildings. Prior reinforcement of the roof structure complicates the project and makes it less profitable. We co-developed the Luxsiol® photovoltaic module with our partner Sunman Energy to make it ultra-light: it has no aluminum frame or glass. This means it can be installed on any type of roof structure (flat roof, steel deck, corrugated iron), without the need to reinforce existing building structures.

We prefer to fit out existing buildings rather than new ones: from a sustainable point of view, our solution means we don't have to occupy floors that could be used for other purposes. This solution also allows vertical installation on cladding.

Our innovative, patented Easy Grip fastening system consists of a grip, glued to the back of the laminate at our factory in Amilly (45), which is glued to the roof using special, patented adhesives supplied with the modules. It prevents drilling into the cladding and guarantees watertightness.

This innovative, quick-fix system is easy to install, reducing roof time by 40% and eliminating the need for conventional mounting equipment.

Recycling

CréaWatt is a member of SOREN, the government-approved eco-organization for the collection and processing of used solar panels in France, and plays an active role in the recycling of all panel and inverter components. Our plant is committed to recycling all production waste, and we will be equipping all the roofs of this new plant during 2024.
